I don't think a whole lot of planing went into anything in Janesville. Just look at the mess of the frontage roads on Milton Ave. Look at the mess of traffic leaving the Target store to HWY 26. Nice frontage road design there. On a Saturday night if you try to leave the Target store and go North on HWY 26 it takes a while. Cruisers cross Hwy 26 turn right in front of Kwik trip re enter HWY 26 and go South, they have the right of way because your at a stop sign and people on HWY 26 turning North have to wait.

I think if the splash park is such a great idea than maybe we ought to charge to use it. Or let the people who want it pay for it. Because after you pay $300,000.00 to build it you'll pay another $100,000.00 a year to maintain it and insure it. The only people making money here is the insurance company. And if someone moves to Milton just because we have a splash park they have their priorities in the wrong place. Our taxes and water bill is much higher than Janesville.

sigma40 I have no problem helping people who are in need of help. I do have a problem with people who keep reproducing and have no desire to work there way out of a mess. As long as we keep passing out money with no restrictions we will never get out of the mess this country is in.

Having a job would be a start to helping remove some of the children from poverty. But we have a whole different class of people who continue to have children who shouldn't be having children.The Gazette should do some investigating into how many people have 2 or 3 or more children whom have never held a job. And continue to receive assistance. I have a neighbor who's child had twins at 14, a year later had another and is now working on number 4. Now who do you think paid for all these children when the parents are not working either. When do we as a society end all this nonsense? 4 children 3 different dad's something ain't working. If you want to know where some of your money goes talk to some people who work the cash register at local grocery stores. They will tell you about the people with $700.00 to $1900.00 Wic balances on their ck. statements.

Why is Ryan so concerened how tax dollars are spent. He wasn't concerened when Bush was is Office. Obama did't create this nightmare he inherited it. And to think I voted for Bush I had my heads up my a__ __. Ryan is worried about his Job and all the free benifits he will get.
