On Milton approves Roberts as interim chief

Posted on March 25 at 9:51 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

In a mess? Please define that. If those fine people find themselves in any mess, it's one created by (perhaps) well-intentioned, yet sorely mis-informed and out of touch people that hold certains posts for which they should have been removed from 60 days ago. And my daughter has every right to be angry over the wages. She's more informed than you may think.

I would hope for all that AND MORE for $62/hour. That might be what this costs, but my daughter as a taxpayer is livid after reading that.

On Interim chief stepping into uncertainty: Department has been without chief or contract two months

maybe it'd be refreshing then to have the mayor come forward and comment to the media to determine what his feelings are about this whole process. can it be possible that this is somehow ACCETABLE to him? i find that hard to believe.

At least the new superintendant has some police work in the past. Maybe he's going to be this interim police chief too???????

You're right Craiggrad. It's a story. Just a shame that the people that could oust this whole committee don't care.

At least he was a cop at one point. I hear they need them in Milton.

Ha Ha Ha...Apparently this committee is trying to prove the theory....beyond a reasonable doubt....that "no news is good news".

On Milton police department awaits chief appointment, union contract

I'd like to hear from the guys and gals with the police department. Altho they probably wouldn't want to identify themselves. My question would be have any of the commission members apologized directly to you for their incompetence? Also have you heard from the mayor apologizing for the police and fire commission? You fine folks deserve better.
