im not saying you dont already contribute and arent important in someones life but that does not mean that you cant take the time and effort you spend and further contribute, just because you do doesnt mean you shouldnt more? Ive done the research and ive seen the hard numbers, nobody has ever died from marijuana, nobody has ever overdosed, does that mean its ok? If you look a little further, the reason there are no statistics on marijuana is because there is no real way to test how "stoned" someone is at the time, aside from paraphenilia and finding the drug on you, if you leave it at home, get stoned out of your mind, jump in a car and kill someone crossing an intersection, the only thing you have going for you is that our PD has no way to "test" for being stoned like they do breathalizers and blood tests for alcohol. Sure they can test and see if youve been using it for the last 6 months but thats no indication of how much you smoked in the 4 hours before you killed this kid crossing the road, that, my friend, is why you cant find any stats on marijuana's problems like you can alcohol. If you think that marijuana doesnt impair judgement then your just plain wrong.

Marijuana is illegal, get over it......legalize this legalize that bla bla bla bla, concentrate your efforts more on doing something good or take the money you use to buy your illegal drugs and donate it to a charity or something. In 100 years the world wont be a better place because you fought to legalize marijuana but perhaps it will if your important in the life of a child, all you people who fight to legalize this drug should concentrate your efforts in a more productive direction.

again, while perfume and cologne may affect a small percentage of the population allergically, cigarettes are bad for everyone, sure a woman with too much perfume is annoying as hell, but unless your in the small percentage thats allergic its no more than an inconvenience. smoking has been proven by years of concrete research that it kills people, ephysema, lung cancer all leading causes of death in the US, directy linked to cigarettes. My point is cigarettes are a choice that is not required to live and greatly harms you, yes there are alot of bad things in this world, Mcdonalds every day will kill you too but thats a necessary choice, meaning you need food to live, where you chose to eat is your bad choice but it doesnt affect the person sitting across the bar when you chain eat. And to the person who says its more carcinogenic driving your car to work than smoking, you need to check your facts a little better, unless your piping your exhaust into the back seat of your car, the last time i looked driving to work wasnt the leading cause of preventable cancer in the US today.

is being in a car the leading cause of cancer related death in the US today? Has anyone ever had a documented case of contracting cancer from being in a car solely from the toxins released in the car and not second hand smoke or something created by an outside source? no i dont think you can put them in the same class, not even close.

Mytake4u.... last time i checked food was something that was required to survive, sure bad eating can cause heart problems, but not eating also causes death. As far as i know not smoking only makes you healthier. Cars, hmm last i checked driving your child to school and yourself to work didnt cause cancer and a slow death, ok, yes cars cause accidents that cause deaths, however, last i checked smoking was a CHOICE that causes cancer and a slow death not an accident. Booze, sure tax it, it already is taxed, but dont put eating food and driving cars on the same field as voluntarily inhaling 200 carcinogens and subjecting those around you to them as well, last i checked you eating 4 double cheesburgers a day didnt cause the guy next to you to have a heart attack.

LaPorta has a good bat but his defensive skills are horrible, hes better suited for an AL team in a DH role, his lack of defense in left field (an area where braun is signed through 2015) would not get him a starting role in the bigs any time soon barring injury. the only thing losing laporta is going to hurt is our Nashville team, he was a bat without a position.
