Nice attempt at misdirection. Notice that the author completely forgot about the "Capital Gains" tax in his calculations. Lets see the numbers when capital gain income is included, that 29.1% will drop sharply.

Kudos to the Gazette for actually naming the fake democrat. Try finding a list of the fake candidates and its clear the democrats are really dropping the ball. It almost looks like they are intentionally trying to throw the recall election.

It sure is easy to see from the comments on this and past articles which people watch Fox News. School teachers=union thugs, police/firefighters=hippies. The number of people who enthusiastically support the race to the bottom that has been sold to them by union members like Beck, Hannity and O'reilly. Thank you all for the real life SNL skit, I truly am LOL.

If that "grace" comes from the collective works of ancient goat herders I'll pass. I'm neither a goat nor herder so I find no utility in their writings. But if I should someday become a goat herder I will seek out the knowledge of those with experience in that field, but alas I have a career that provides well for me already.

But the BuyBull tells us that Jesus Herbert Christ was a conservative, so any rhetoric from the right comes pre-blessed and is unassailable.

I thought both the dog and the pony did a great show on the floor of congress this week. Very fun to watch, with the depth of a small puddle.

On Massacre, followed by libel

Recent events have brought a call for more civility in political discourse. We are hearing a lot about violent speech and imagery from politicians and political pundits. I agree that this has increased dramatically in recent election cycles, but I also think something is being overlooked.
If you add all the people that regularly watch cable new (Fox, MSNBC, CNN) and listen to talk radio, the number is still a minority of the American populace. What isn't being talked about is the shift in non-news network and cable programming.
Violence and angry dialog used to be most prominent in fiction TV dramas and movies. But we are now flooded with what are called "reality shows" that focus on conflict among participants. This conflict, and sometimes violence, is billed as reality while being encouraged by producers to give those who act the most outrageous more screen time. Antisocial behavior has become the fast track to fame and fortune while civility has been relegated to the backroom of mundane.
This beckons the question; Is reality television a reflection of American culture or is it shaping that culture?
