30 or so years ago, there was an attack on blue collar labor. Started with Reagan allowing million or so illegals to stay here. Great for those companies that were looking for cheap labor, bad for those making a great factory wage. NO one seemed to notice, the more educated meerly stated, go back to school get an education and get a better paying job. More jobs (good paying) allowed to move out of the country, great for corporations bad for the US workers, Starting to see a pattern yet? Then the old great guy, you know the president, the one most everyone loved; former president Mr. Clinton. NAFTA, reversed Glass and Steagal, and signed the Commodities Act of 2000. Great guy right? Educate yourself on these 3 policies, then you will understand there importance. I have to ask, what is wrong with the janitor making a living wage? That money he or she makes goes right back in the system, unlike the top 1% which goes to offshore accounts. Anyway, now there is an attack on the educated, and now everyone seems to notice, yet you still have those that do consider they are the have's! Compared to who? The unemployed? Newt stated on one of his debates that a New York city Janitor makes as much money that would be best suited to employ 37 children janitors. Wow really, so we should start having children doing janitorial jobs. Missouri governor wants to repeal the child labor laws, children back in the few factories that are left? Are you starting to see a pattern yet? Big breaks for corporations that move there buisness outside the US? Patterns yet? What you are witnessing, is the slow decay of this once great country. Don't worry, if you have not been effected yet, you will. You see this shi* is rolling up hill. Divide and conquer is the strategy that is being used on it's own people and the scary thing is, most don't see it. Alas, whats even scarier is that a lot of people get thier news from Fox and the other corporate owned stations. Wake up people, before its too late. I just have to vent and I shake my head, if only you could see what is happening.
