On Young musicians have chance to be heard

We all know some young singer that should be on the radio or maybe they have composed an amazing song - how interesting that we are satisfied to let some little man in a big desk in Los Angeles decide whether or not their music should ever be heard. Midwest Artist Network is rewriting the end to that story.

On East Troy’s Buell Motorcycles to shut down

My wife and I love to ride. We don't own a Harley. Not because we don't like them, it just wasn't important enough for us to own one. Don't get me wrong, they're great - we just found another bike we liked. You see, we just enjoy the sport. It never was about the brand. Never the less, it is unfortunate to see Buell and all those families lose this great business and their jobs.

On Group helps musicians get heard

I am involved with the organization of Midwest Artist Network so my opinion my be considered biased. Having said that -

I have been a musician my entire life and have worked professionally in the musical field for all of my adult life. I have never seen a grass roots organization that had the resources to truly help the growing musical artist quite like MWAN. There are the national commercial organizations that only celebrate celebrities and then there are the local or regional groups that simply don't have the connections or resources necessary to actually accomplish much for the average regional talent.

MWAN is a totally fresh concept that allows the regional singer, songwriter and musician a cooperative and collective outlet for their musical expression. You can be heard and there are others just like you - looking for that synergy and collaboration that can get your music out of hiding. All you need do is get to know Gretch Hladish, the founder of this brilliant network, to understand that the time has truly come for Midwest Artist Network. No longer will musicians have to wait in line to be insulted or wish upon a shooting star to be discovered. The playing field is being leveled for aspiring singers, songwriters and musicians right here in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Oh as far as the website - there are dozens of social networking sites if the motivation is to gather friends and penpals. To make any productive inroads into the music culture artists are going to have to network with the human beings that are actively involved in regional music in their area. There are many ways to do this - very few are going to be found in a chat room, and it makes no sense to recreate these existing environments. There are links to these sites right on www.midwestartistsearch.com. Midwest Artist Network is one of the doorways into this region's musical scene.
