Really, people? This all sounds great to me. More opportunities to take electives. Holding kids to a higher standard. Starting at 7:45 will help with traffic between Parker & Franklin. Smaller class sizes.

5 weeks of paid vacation for a clerical worker? That's excessive. Teachers get no paid vacation during the school year and only two personal days ? With all the _____ they put up with on a daily basis, two measly days off is indeed "obscene".

Sounds like a sweet deal for Mercy. Spend more to keep the plan and the doctors you have, or save money by switching to Mercy. I think I'd be a little upset if I worked for Dean / St. Mary's.

I'm a huge fan of both Bower City and of JPAC. That being said, it certainly doesn't seem like JPAC is "promoting the arts" and "serving the community" by driving out one of the main forces behind the arts in Janesville. Bower City is full of extraordinary people with amazing levels of talent and dedication, and they bring the arts to more people than probably any other group in town - give them a discount, and keep them in Janesville.

On You’ll get billed even without using water

Why are these fixed charges not included on our property tax bills instead? Or, at the very least, labeled correctly on our quarterly "water" bills? Calling it a water or wastewater "base fee" is misleading. By the way, what is the "stormwater" charge of $9.50 for?
