On Wisconsin Senate approves minimum wage boost

The minimum wage should reflect the cost of living index. Goods and services continue to rise at a fairly rapid rate, the minimum wage needs to adjust accordingly.
As for restuarants - i never understoof why that particular business had to pay their employees such a pitance, and the public was supposed to make up that nominal dollar amount with tips? Why do resturant owners get such a deal?

Online Internet education is a very innovative, progressive and valid form of learning in todays world. My son was part of this program and excelled beautifully. I believe that full funding and support should be in place for this type of excellent educational option!
On Three Janesville students expelled

Where do these "expelled" children go? What is being done with them as far as education, therapy, etc.? The parents are part of the problem as they have obviously not taken their parental responsibilities as seriously as they should have. Violent kids have not been taught respect and compassion. Are the parents being worked with regarding their responsibility? Are these kids just being ousted. Good values and responsibility start in the home and need to continue in the classroom.. these are ALL of our children and ALL of our responsibility.

I agree 100% ashtophet. Any type of firearm should not be allowed to be sold over the internet. That is ridiculous and allows for even more difficulty in enforcing the very weak and few laws regarding gun sales. Gun laws (what few there are)differ from state to state.
What kind of a human would make their livelihood from selling weapons. Sad. And YES, guns do kill people... statistically over and over and in large numbers. The killers don't just run up to the victims and force them to die by thought. It IS the gun. The comment about the car dealer was as childish as it gets. It is 2008 - progress is in order. This is not the 1700's or 1800's, we need laws that reflect modern day life.
