This is killing me! All of you who are calling the actions taken at the capitol unethical...where were you when your teachers were lying and taking "sick" days? So that is ethical behavior? Sheesh! If the 14 had done their job, Walker and the remaining wouldn't have had to do it for them! And those of you complaining about repubs being more socialistic than dems, and the "if I can't have it, neither can you" attitude. You are entirely missing the point. We, the tax payers, have been paying for those benefits for public employees for years. We just don't have any more money to give. It's rather hard to get blood from a turnip.

There are a lot more than 700 of us that support Gov. Walker. We voted for him...remember? And...he won!

Vatoloco, I believe that has been Bill Cosby's message for years! If only the libs would catch on and really help minorities gain self respect and respect from others. What a world we would live in then. My pastor, a black man, holds the exact same thoughts on the subject. Can you imagine every black man, latino, chinese, etc. all used their knowledge to the fullest of their abilities. There would probably be no more world hunger, jobs would be plentiful etc. Amazing. What is the common saying...if you give a man a fish, he eats for a day. If you teach him to fish, he eats for a life time. I'll add to that. He teaches his kids and they teach theirs and so on and so on.

uww, might want to watch the use of "African American." My black friends don't like to be called that. They take offense to it.
Vatoloco, "It is time for the minority groups to stop the excuses and start kicking into a higher gear with academics and stop blaming the white man for all of their misfortunes." This is the exact sentiment of my friends that are black. Don't know why uww was dissing you on your quote. You are right on.

Eksreigh, I too had to look up "lipstick lesbian." I had no idea what it meant. So, if I am understanding correctly, it's simply the feminine partner of the lesbian couple. Not sure why that would make a difference in my being willing to shower with her. Seems kind of an odd question.

GF...I wouldn't shower with any lesbian. Period. Nor would I shower with any man, other than my husband. Period. And Juststoppingby, this arugment of what you would or wouldn't do in the shower is irrelevant. It isn't about you. The straight guys would be uncomfortable showering with you. That would be like a guy showering with a bunch of women. Per your explanation, as long as he knew we weren't interested in him, all would be well because we aren't his "type." That would make everything okay? No, it wouldn't. 99.99 percent of women would not be okay with that. Stop thinking about yourself and think about the majority of the guys showering in the barracks.

Are they going to install new showers for all the gays? I wouldn't want to shower with a lesbian woman and I'm sure most straight guys would feel uncomfortable showering with a gay guy. It would be the same thing as heterosexual men and women showering together. Not a good thing.

N00b, most of us have been "sharing" in the pain for a long time now. It's now time to share the burden. Thanks for joining us!
