Despite the jackboot tactics of JB Vanhollen and the minions at DATCP, the jury saw through the spurious charges and said let this man sell nutritious food to moms and others who want it.

wislady - that was a cheap and unnecessary shot at Mr. Levitt. It's clear you personally approve of the choice of Mr. Grassman from your comment on the last article... "Congrats to Mr. Grassman, and to BTC for their good choice." For you to cast aspersions on Mr. Levitt, because of others casting doubts about Mr. Grassman, is detestable.

sf - many of us agree with you it's the system that's broken. Good teachers have their hands tied and are unrewarded. Poor teachers have been protected by the status quo. Now we have a teacher newly elected to the Janesville School Board, perhaps she'll introduce policies to give teachers more autonomy. Which policy should she start with ?

Teacher Greg Devine spoke to the board using a "cow-milking adage". According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel database, Mr. Devine and his wife, teacher Christine, make a combined $117,706 in salary, and combined total compensation of $158,314. That places them at 230% of the median Wisconsin household income of $51k (which is declining).
.
Maybe Mr. Devine meant to tell the board "don't touch the sacred milk cow"?

How will Blackhawk Tech pay for their share of the space ? Taxpayer money. And there is no one we can vote out if we don't like it. From who else will this group of rich ag desk farmers ask for money ?
