On Do you lack the skills employers need?

Here is another perspective: I’m 21 from Janesville with an Associate’s degree from UW-Rock County. I was recently hired at a local company for $34,000 annual salary as a credit and collections associate. My resume is jammed pack with plenty examples of “greatness” ranging from volunteer experience to leadership examples. Should I feel bad for my coworkers who are 50 years old and have no educational experience or on the job experience (except for the fact they have had the same position for the past 20 years)? Also, note that I work full time and commute to Whitewater to get a bachelors degree all while I see others around me complain about the company, outsourcing, Janesville, etc. Should I feel bad they have kids and have become comfortable with their salary? I can personally tell you today; I do feel bad. I have worked hard in my own lifetime to stay out of a repetitive job at General Motors that my father worked to keep health insurance under my belt. I might not visually show it to my coworkers, but I am in a twisted set of emotion where I want personal growth in my own life without the feeling of neglect from those that I respect the most. I can honestly say that I don’t lack the skills an employer wants. I am not perfect so feel free to edit my grammar on my posting tonight, rarely do I comment on the Gazette.

I respect any person in a leadership position who admidts to a wrong choice. I think we need more leaders that allow themselves to do this, instead of 'beating around the bush.' Humans are not perfect. Nonetheless, I think its great to have students involved in the meetings. I doubt anytime soon will we see a huge influx of students attending the meetings anyway. I very much enjoyed Jami Jenson's quotes in the Gazzette. It is difficult for young people to care about what is going on in society as she mentinoned. I would hope an education teaches one to critically think, which is excalty what is going on here (on a real world basis!).
On Reflecting on UW-Rock County Dean Diane Pillard

As a 2011 UW-Rock County graduate I have a simple reflection. I have no complaints but I have never seen Pillard anywhere on campus. Her office is far from classes and students I suppose.

Isn't calling in sick and not being sick considered fraud or falsifying company documents? How come teachers are not asked to sumbit proof any other day of the year?

Suprised to see comments are allowed here. Hopefully everyone thinks twice about using the throttle. Speed is great fun until accidents like this happen.

On How do we cork underage drinking?
Posted on January 5 at 2:36 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
If any underage need alcohol, it's easy! Just message me! (Ok, thats onlay a joke. However, technology and social norms are ever changing!) Couldn't that professor smell the alcochol on breaths/in the air? Wasn't the childrens speech somewhat slurred? I find the story hard to belive, personally.
