wtp - I am always here to entertain. I am glad it is working.

FREERADICAL - how do you put a price on a young person's life who O.D.'s on heroin? What we spend is indifferent to the lives me might save, even if it is only one...

Depth at cornerback is not what the Packers are flush with.....we don't know how good we have it with Harris and Woodson. I hope they prove me wrong.

Where is the kid? We need somebody to defend "marijuana is not a gateway drug"....I am sure these 2 were engaged in this type of activity to support their families due to the down economy.

On The face of homelessness in Janesville

Giving or helping others is a personal choice. Being "Christian" does not automatically make you charitable. I believe the Christian faith does teach "giving" and sacrifice (helping), but it also teaches abstinence, truthfullness, honor, and a host of other attributes. But you tell me one person on earth that is perfect with all of these attributes Christian or not. Religion has nothing to do with any of this, I think jvlhousewife described the school to identify only, not use it as a basis for characterization. Most of you did that.....

my3kids - so do you approve of it or not? By the way, I don't understand your "teeter totter" analogy. It was approved by both commissions, and failed only the council. Remember that the next time you are guilty, not guilty, guilty, not guilty when you go for an appeal.....

Wow, we sure have a lot of self righteous floating around on this blog. Who are we to tell jvlhousewife how to raise her children? Who are we to tell her what to believe in? That is her right. I agree with her in principal, but not in ideology. Helping others is not a requirement in life. However, most people receive joy in helping others, especially when they feel blessed for what they have. Everybody has a different threshold of personal fortune, and that person should be comfortable in giving/helping others vs. being made to or doing it because "they should" based on somebody elses view....

On Dirty Laundry

Life isn't fair. The news agencies don't control what happens in reality, they just control what reality they decide to report on. Life is full of bad and good. If you ignore the bad, it will eventually grow and dominate. Just remember, in order to get clean laundry, it had to be dirty at one time.
