On School board makes another appeal to unions

Posted on December 6 at 8:56 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Even if the board imposed the maximum tax next fall and got all the state aid associated with taxing to the max, that would generate only about $2 million, Sodemann said.

Only $2 million, Bill? That seems like alot of money to me. What would the numbers be if we had taxed to the max in the past?

On Walker to make announcement in Evansville today

Posted on March 17 at 9:57 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I heard that after the employees get trained that they will have to pay 8% of their pay until this is paid back. It's only fair because it is taxpayer money, right? My annoyance with our Gov has reached the sarcastic stage and the fool has got to go.

hondaman3, Your comments sound like you might have the last name of Fitzgerald. I hope you are taking your blood pressure meds. It is great to see some common sense posts and alot more people are starting to see through the BS that the Gov and Rep senators are trying to pass on to the people.

On Edgerton reaches teacher contract

Let's see...Teachers take a 8% pay cut and lose the right to collectively bargain with the Despair Bill...Who wouldn't go for that sweet deal? We ALL pay taxes, but the dingdong repubs think they are the ONLY ones that do. We need a fair Governor that brings the state together to work out all of our issues. Please pledge to Recall Walker at www.unitedwisconsin.com and keep the momentum of the senate recall going. SOLIDARITY FOREVER!

I'm sure that the senate can find away around this with some BS tactics. I for one am sick of people saying that it is the will of the voters. The "Silent Majority" which amounts to about 52% of the only 1/3 of registered voters that voted. When he is able to be recalled, people will see that Walker never ran on taking collective bargaining away from the people so live it up while you can because the end is coming for your silent majority.

" Walker said the layoffs would not be necessary since the bill, which includes $30 million in concessions from state employees, had passed." What about the quorum for financial issues? This guy is a joke and make sure everyone is pledging to recall this clown!
