Slave wages, terrible medical insurance, and unsafe working conditions. Oh and if you do get injured in the workplace, they are self insured and will deny the claim. Beware

On Milton OKs 6 a.m. alcohol sales

Posted on January 4 at 8:15 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

All you whiners that think changing the time to 6:00 a.m. is a big deal, wake up!!

First of all the businesses have a CHOICE if they want to sell beer at 6:00 a.m. Read the article: "would have the option to sell alcohol from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m"

Secondly, drinking is a CHOICE. Don't blame the honest business for the person that makes poor CHOICES.

On Should we bemoan decline of married adults?

Posted on December 22 at 7:47 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

"In today’s Gazette, a new Pew Research Center analysis finds that just 51 percent of adults in the U.S. are married."

And is anyone surprised? If half the marriages end in divorce then the other half would be unmarried. I cannot believe people are surprised. This is just simple math.

Uncle_Jesse- YOU can choose NOT to wear a seat belt when operating a motor vehicle. See, that is the beauty of living in the United States of America, WE HAVE CHOICES. YOU can do whatever YOU choose in this life.
Just do not complain if you get a citation.

Sigma40 says - "Only reason its .08 is so they can bust more people and make more money."

WRONG~

The reason the State of Wisconsin lowered the BAC from 0.10 to 0.08 is because the federal government threatened to take precious highway funding away if the state did not lower the BAC to 0.08

Once again our society needing over the top groups such as MADD to tell us how to live and protect us from ourselves. SAD......

Sigma40 states: "That is like saying stupidity is a desease." No, stupidity is NOT being able to spell disease.
**********Definition of DISEASE***************
A disease is an abnormal condition affecting the body of an organism. It is often construed to be a medical condition associated with specific symptoms and signs.[1] It may be caused by external factors, such as infectious disease, or it may be caused by internal dysfunctions, such as autoimmune diseases. In humans, "disease" is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes pain, dysfunction, distress, social problems, and/or death to the person afflicted, or similar problems for those in contact with the person. In this broader sense, it sometimes includes injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections, isolated symptoms, deviant behaviors, and atypical variations of structure and function, while in other contexts and for other purposes these may be considered distinguishable categories. Diseases usually affect people not only physically, but also emotionally, as contracting and living with many diseases can alter one's perspective on life, and their personality.
