My prayers goes out to this family. My cousin and his wife were killed on their motorcyle 10 years ago by a drunk driver. He got 7 years and only spent 5 years in prison plus for the next ten years he has to spend the night in jail on the anniversary of their accident. That just wasn't enough time for taking 2 lives.

kerry is doing away with manufacturing but they should place these 17 people in the company. The last 17 are senior people with not much time to go until retiring. One guy was retiring in June a couple of others in a year. Don't know what kind of severance they are going to offer them. Interesting to see.

Where is the justice here? Our system has to change you get time in prison for selling drugs or getting caught drunk driving multiple times but to kill a child and get your hands slapped. What a joke. The judge that has handled this case needs to be voted out.

My dad worked at GM for 30 years retired in 87. I remember him telling me how he went there everyday with his lunch and sat in the office until they hired him. This went on for two weeks. Finally a foreman came in and said they needed someone for assembly and my dad said what about me. and the foreman said follow me. Starting pay then was 3.00 an hour. He had 3 children to support so there were times that we struggled. I remember the strike of 71 it was a long one. When they had the last tour last month my father didn't go he wants to remember it as it was when he retired. I worked at Beloit corp so I know what you are all going through with losing your jobs.
