I agree...I haven't found a great burger in Janesville yet, but Charlie's Place has a nice, messy burger. Red Robin is always good, too.

The Help was an amazing book! I'm currently reading Orange is the New Black by Piper Kerman. It's non-fiction about her year spent in Danbury women's prison and the relationships she builds with the other inmates.

I totally agree with you, Kayla! I've lived here most of my life and have never had trouble with runners. I'm a walker and my husband is a runner...we always walk/run on the sidewalk. Once in a while we have a car that doesn't like to wait for us to cross at a stop sign, but most cars are respectful of pedestrians. "Don't think you are something special because you are a runner"...?? Wow...where did that come from??

I think soup is the perfect thing to bring for lunches. You control the freshness of the ingredients...canned soup usually has way too much sodium in particular. I have about 3 recipes that I use; a chicken noodle/rice, a spicy beef with barley and a veggie. Perfect with a half sandwich. Stock up on glass pyrex bowls (no plastic in the microwave!) and you're all set!
