On Obama: No new offshore drilling as accident probed
Posted on April 30 at 10:09 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
FTA:"PENSACOLA BEACH, Florida — In the conservative Florida Pandhandle, where Sarah Palin's battle cry "Drill, Baby, Drill" is still visible on car bumpers, some are reconsidering their support of offshore drilling as a growing spill in the Gulf of Mexico drifts closer to shore."
In order to have "drill baby drill" you are going to have to put up with "spill baby spill." Ever notice how people are always for somethings until it impacts them in a negative way?

FTA:"CLS sued, charging that Hastings had violated its rights of free speech, religious liberty and freedom of association. After lower courts ruled in favor of the law school, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the CLS appeal"
So now "money" is free speech, video taping "killing" animals is free speech, and this organization wants "discrimination" to also be free speech. Crazy!
On Senator: Wis. election bill would help 'the lazy'

And Republicans know when more people vote in a election the Democrats win. No wonder Republican Sen. Glenn Grothman is against this bill. They saw a large turn out in the last election and are pissing in their panties thinking it could happen again.
Actually, I would like to see this bill go one step farther and have voting by mail only. Close the polling places, and put the money that it takes to run them towards postage. Heck, they have been doing it in the state or Oregon since '98.
On City could charge for emergency calls

"The department proposes charging residents $400 for vehicle accidents and $500 for vehicle fires."
It wouldn't cost this much to dispatch an emergency vehicle to the scene. Looks like a bit of an overcharge to me.

On Frustrated job seekers deciding to call it quits

Jobs that went overseas are gone forever unless companies can push American wages down, down, down to the place where it will be profitable for them.
The Republican will help the corporations by breaking the unions. Then they will go after the Federal minimum wage. Good bye middle class, or at least eighty percent of the middle class workers.
