I know he got it from Mercy..the only place he goes and they operated on his bladder and the MRSA showed up there. Mercy has a horrible reputation anyhow. I had surgery in Fort and the first thing they asked me was if I had ever been told I had MRSA. At least they watch out for it. The doc never even explained to my father-in-law what MRSA is either, just put him on antibiotics. Another gal who had it was on antibiotics for 3 months. This stuff doesn't go away. Never heard of anything good coming from Mercy.

I will never step in a Mercy hospital or recommend it..it seems they are unsanitary...I keep hearing of people getting a horrible staph infection called MRSA from Mercy and I would suffer before going there. Get it together and clean it up, literally, Mercy Hospital.

An example of waste.....for those people on FOOD STAMPS they should not be allowed to buy junk food such as soda and candy..I saw an overweight woman with 12 packs of sugary soda and peanut butter cups and use her food stamp Quest card to pay for it... tell me what family needs all that soda? By the way, I am overweight myself and was on food stamps as a single mom and I actually bought food for my child, NEVER soda and candy. My tax dollars going for that junk!!!!!! And Badger Care to pay all her doctor bills...oh but wait when I pointed out a less sugary soday, she did say she didn't have diabetes so she could drink the sugary stuff...egads!!!

Leave it to a non-believer to make a great event like this, made to look like something worthless. Big deal that these kids get together someplace that happens to be coordinated by churches. I am sure we believers think you brainwash your own "victims." Just keep your opinion to yourself. Go ahead and don't believe, I don't care. It doesn't mean that the world can't try to do something good based on what they believe. I see non-believers as boring, lifeless people anyhow. I would rather believe in God and live a life feeling like there is something bigger and better than me, and take the chance that God is real (which I DO believe.) Than to live a life NOT BELIEVING and then die and then it is too late!
On Do you support efforts to build a casino in Beloit?

Just let them build the darn thing. If they want it bad enough, get them to pay the back taxes and get a way to make sure they pay in the future and give them an "or else." Check with Baraboo and see if they are that bad of a neighbor and if they are a positive or negative for their community. Have any of you been there...they have oodles of jobs..bring the Illinois people up here to give us their money that they get from us for their tolls, and it is always a positive to finally have the low income people help pay a share of the property tax (by them going to the casino.) I use to be against these things, but they have their benefits. Better using money there than buying drugs for some people.

Excuse me. I use to work there. Sallie Mae jerked this office around for the last few years. Yes, as Arrow it was debt collection on people who charged up their charge cards and decided, for whatever reason, to not pay them. Why should anyone get away with such behavior. Remember, those cards were charged before ANY of this recent stuff happened and people were working. When things got bad in Sept 2008 they got rid of third party collections and tried to keep our jobs and had us do their student loan collections. People who either got an education and couldn't find a job or were lazy and didn't think that they would ever have to pay them back. By the time Obama came in January 2009 we were told we were going to transition to student loans because he wanted to get rid of the middleman. If you sat in our shoes being a collector you would hear all the non-legitimate excuses, among only a FEW of legitimate excuses. Debt collection is NOT bottom of the barrel unless you are someone who doesn't know the value of a dollar. I believe in fairness, I have to pay my bills, why can't others. Again, you don't know what we had to go through and hear the smart mouth remarks and attitudes of people who thought the world owed them. Don't judge a debt collector unless you have actually given them the time of day. We ARE good people who want to help people who didn't give a dang about their credit or paying their bills they incurred. We ARE brave people who believe in fairness. Don't lump us in with the bad ones you hear about on the news.
