There are 2 people already on the board that are running again that have wife's teaching in the Parkview district. Isn't this a conflict of interest? Makes me wonder if there intrest is for the best of the students,or the staff.

Shouldnt there be a conflict of interest when 2 of the (now) board members have wifes that teach at Parkview? So are we looking at the interest of our children? Or our staff?

What a horrible act. But I must be a bit simpathetic with some of the parents (if this was done by kids) which it sure points torwards them. You can have the best behaved kids while at home with there parents or other adults, but when they walk out the front door of there home, you dont know what there going to do. Not all of these kids are bad, they are just follower's. Dont be so fast to blame the parents when you dont know the family background. Make the kids accountable, if they parents are made to make restitution, the kids aren't learning. Then see how the parents react. If they make excuses for the child, then there is a problem. But I would think most parents would make there child be responsible for there actions. I have always said for every action--there is a reaction. Be prepared for the reaction.

There a few of us business owners in Orfordville that would hate to see any business close. Donna's has always been good for Orfordville. The more business's we have the better it is for the community. Good luck to the kids, I hope they get the support from the community they need and all goes well for them.

I guess that would mean that no golf courses could advertise because they sell alcohol. I would like to know just how much money thoses places (that sell alcohol) gave to the school thru-out the year. Seems like the schools are always asking the business for donations for some event. Anywhere from sports, to music programs. When schools are crying about funding, lets put the hammer down on good business that help support our schools. Lets look at the picture here, there good enough to give money all year, but cant put an add in the year book. If this is the case, I hope those business's stop all there donations. You might be surprised at what other business's withdraw there funding even if they dont sell alcohol.

So now in the spring for turkey hunting, are we going to be told that we have to wear blaze orange, like when phesant hunting during gun season? I dont think there was much thought put into this decision. Where are the coments of the DNR? I thought they over-ruled anyone else.

We need new people on the board. 2 of the present members have wifes that teach for Parkview. To me that is a conflict of interest. If your spouse is an employee of Parkview, are you interests in the students or staff. GET NEW BLOOD ON THE BOARD!!! Vote Wingerson, Haberman, & Hagmann.
