On One dead in Beloit shooting

I send my prayers to the family of the victims. No one deserves to die at the end of a handgun, that is probably sold illegally on the streets again or stolen from someone. I don't blame the city of Beloit....how can you? But I do stress that the Beloit Police department should focus more on putting the people in jail that are out their murdering others insted of jailing people on parking tickets or speeders! What is the priority here people? This happened right alongside an elementary school! What if those children would have been outside for recess after lunch? I am sure that the shooter would not have been thinking about the innocent children involved!! Get on the ball police, get these people in jail that belong there!

The pedestrian was the shooter. I know the young man that was the victem in this shooting as well as the the other injured person. They have children like you and I. They, just like everyone else, don't deserve to die at the receiving end of a bullet! I agree with a comment that someone else left, and that it said that the same people are getting away with murder! But the people that know them are too scared to point the finger because they fear their life. Beoit police need to get a hand on the crime that is happening down there and start doing something about the ones that they know are doing the shooting and find a way to keep them in jail! Solve some of the unsolved murders that have happened in the past years! Either the detectives are contaminating the scenes, or they are just waiting for the "BIG DOGS" in hopes to try and fry bigger fish! WTF? Sorry if I have offended anyone...this post was not meant to do that, but Beloit isn't a bad place to live, but until I feel protected and feel that my children would be safe, then it will remain only a 10 minute drive!

I wish more people would speak up about the things that go on down there! I can understand though. But what we have to realize is that this shooting took place by a school, and these wanna be "playas" think that they can do what they want, and if the police keep letting them, this will be a continuing cycle of violence! Come on.....how many more have to die.....well, I guess I understated that word
"DIE"...I should have said...murder. What will it take for people to stand up and put these people behind bars? I hope that whoever lives near this area will take note that it could have been an innocent kid at Merrill school that lost his/her life because os senseless violence. He may not have been an elementary child from Merrill, but please understand, that he was somebody's child.
