On Shouting out: Protesters cheerfully oppose health care reform
Posted on August 17 at 1:32 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
The signs were NOT cheerful and pleasant. Something has to be done to fix the health care system. The one we have now is not working. The Republicans had 8 years to come with something and they didn't and they still don't have a good suggestion.

How can they conclude the head trauma occured on the babysitters watch? Look at Vanessa Redgrave's daughter. She hit her head skiing felt fine and then died hours later. What if something happened at home that morning and then he died later at the babysitters? I guess no one will ever know.....

It has taken years for things to get this bad. Some money from the Fed isn't going to be an immediate fix.
On Milton School District, YMCA looking to collaborate on pool

I think it would be great if the Y could build a competition swimming pool in Milton. The Janesville YMCA doesn't ahve a decent size pool. It would cut the expenses for the school district as well.
On Groups condemn UW plan to perform abortions

I get so frustrated with this issue. This is a personal decision for the woman. We can not make someone else believe in the same things as we do. In this country we have the freedon of choice on all sorts of issues. If a woman makes the decision she needs to have an abortion than we should allow her to do that- safely and legally. Could I ever have an abortion, no. But that is my personal decision.

It doesn't matter if they are Democrat or Republican. Former IL Gov. Ryan was a Republican and he is serving time right now for the same thing.
On Catholics advised to distance themselves from Vosen book

I read this announcement in the Catholic Observer. I had heard about the book before but of course now I want to read it. Why can't we hear his side of the story? Just because we read something it doesn't mean we believe it or hold truth in everything that is written in it. How can I believe that my GOd would punish me for reading a book. That is crazy. People murder others and can be forgiven but if I read this book I am going to break a Pontifical Secret that will punish me forever??? Morlino is from the same mold of the Bishops in charge decades ago when all of these problems were hidden and kept secret. And look where that has gotten us. Scary

Why wouldn't they plow the side streets??? All this snow will turn to an icy nightmare if they don't. It's not like it is supposed to be 45 degrees tomorrow and the snow will melt!!

Hmmm, my "prep" time means coming to work early and doing some from home. I don't get paid for it but I do it as part of my chosen profession.
