On Giants stun Packers, advance to NFC championship game

Posted on January 16 at 11:44 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Not the way a 15-1 season is supposed to end but "defense wins championships" and that is why the packers and saints prolific offenses will be watching from home next weekend. It is no coincidence that the two best defenses in the NFC will be playing in the championship next weekend. When you have the worst defense in NFL history you just can't expect to go very deep in the playoffs. You need to pressure the quarterback, cover the receivers and tackle, none of which the packers do well or with consistency. It was a memorable season that ended too soon. Go Pack, go.

On Lions DT Ndamukong Suh suspended 2 games

Posted on November 30 at 8:11 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Thanks to the NFL for not suspending him for the next Packer game. Now he is fair game for our offensive line. I would smile just a little if they cracked back a couple of times on his knees just to remind him his cheap shot punk game has no place in the game. I know the packers have too much class to do this...but I don't. I am proud of the fact that none of the Packers lost their cool in that game and they just let NamDUMBukong take his team right out of the game.

I still don't know what is more scary here. The dirty way he plays or his totally clueless nature regarding his deliberate attempts to injure opposing players. Earth to Suh...earth to Suh...come in Suh.

On Packers beat Lions 27-15 to improve to 11-0

THANK YOU NDUMBAKONG SUH

Thanks for giving Mr. Suh.

You took your team out of that game yesterday with your inexcusable stupid and selfish play. Thank you.

You inspired the Packers team to roll your...yes...still pathetic excuse for a football team. You sure helped separate the pretenders from the contenders. Thank you.

Not only did your mouth write checks all week that you and your team couldn’t cover but your post game interview again proves just what a clueless punk you really are. Thank you.

At first I was shocked that nobody from the Pack pounded your sorry butt immediately after that play but, in retrospect, they showed the class and dignity becoming of an NFL player...and a champion...and let the scoreboard do the talking rather than your big mouth and cowardly actions. Thank you.

Now I hope the NFL suspends you for the remainder of the season with the only exception being the game up at Lambeau in a few weeks. Then when one of our linemen stands you up and the others start chopping your knees, that popping and cracking you hear won’t be Christmas chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Then you can watch the Packers march through the playoffs from your hospital bed. Just our little way of saying Happy Holidays and thank you.

On Statewide efforts under way to remove Walker from office

In tough economic times like this it is revolting to see such a colossal waste of money, time and energy. Wouldn't it be refreshing to see all these resources spent on something productive for a change. One can always wish.

On Businesses’ liability at issue when considering whether to allow guns on premises

Posted on November 9 at 8:25 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

So the reasonable man is willing to pull a gun in self defense and open fire on the criminals who frequent these public places? How is jeopardizing others ever reasonable. If you like guns or feel the need to carry one, fine, that is your right now. But for me, I would prefer to steer my family clear of such situations. In my 60 years I have never had the need for a gun. Maybe I'm just the lucky one.

20,000 paranoid souls who feel a gun strapped to their body provides some measure of security to the insecure. Just following the law? Yeah, right buckaroo.

I would be more inclined to shop with my family in a store that promoted "No Weapons Allowed", immunity or not. I understand it is a constitutional right and all the arguments on either side of the issue but I still see no reason for any responsible citizen to carry a weapon to a public place that families frequent.
