On Dairy giant eyes Rock County property

Posted on June 1 at 8:26 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Bad idea - bad for our current Wisconsin dairy farmers - bad for the cows - bad for our environment...don't let it happen. The DNR will probably allow the permit - maybe not this time, but eventually. This will be your government at work - good intentions - bad results. Why flood the market with even more milk and drive prices down for the "family farm" and force them out of business. Stay in Nebraska where you are already screwing things up!!

On Edgerton City Council fries up chicken plan

I grew up on a farm and we had some chickens. No way do I want them here in town. If everybody was totally respectful of their neighbors, (in Utopia maybe) kept their chickens quiet, (impossible) cleaned up after their chickens promptly and continuosly (like THAT'S gonna happen!) then a remote MAYBE, but if your neighbors are anything like mine, that would never be the case. Please keep all chickens on the farm where they belong!!

Anybody else that thinks maybe mister "victim" is not so innocent and pure without any blame in this story? I am not a student at Parker, but as a student of life, I doubt this is all one-sided and only the fault of the kid who now finds himself battling "hate" crimes - YIKES what is worse than THAT these days!!. Let's hear from some Parker students who are unbiased, not intimidated, and know what is REALLY going on there.

On Janesville officials watch dip in state tax collections

Is there anyone in town who ever doubted where our property taxes are headed? This story is maybe just meant to be a little body blow before the knockout punch is delivered!!

On Janesville compost hours confuse users

Janesville could save lots of money by eliminating the buses that drive around with nobody on them. Being a bus driver in Janesville must be a very well-paid, but lonely job.

On Interstate chase ends in arson

Why weren't the police able to question her before she reached Janesville? Why didn't the police just arrest her in the parking lot off Milton Avenue? Why weren't they able to stop her before she reached the interstate? After they DID stop her, how did she have enough time to douse herself AND her car with gas and light the fire before they could stop her from doing that? Something is wrong with this article....
