Wisslady that is what G.M. and the union did and there are many jobs that pay half of what they did these workers were not ignorant of the market and the need to keep the company making money. Why is it so bad for some one in this country to get paid a decent wage? This is exactly what will get the economy going higher wages are always spent and that generates growth and then maybe your walker dream of 250,000 jobs can be attained. Would be nice if they were good living wage union jobs. You may want to look into why labor unions first started something to do with a decent wage and safe work and oh yeah and a 40 hour week.

Better to educate them now than have to support them in the future! Hey these young people will be the ones changing our diapers and feeding us when we get to old to take care of ourselves. Really want some one with the smarts to know which end is which.

Good choice Milton! Schigur the Tiger is a very good and able Principal. I have a lot of confidence that he will be very good an able Superintendent. As to the mess in the past lets put it behind us our kids deserve the best. I want to wish Tim the Best of Luck!
I am one person in Milton that is happy to follow your lead.

Hey its tough out there in the real world. My job calls me to be there 10.5 hours not counting the commute. I work with some young people now who would be lost with out their I-Pod or cell phone. Their work ethic sucks. That being said I have told my own teenage children that they must get as much free education as they can to be ready for the cruel real world out there! In my opinion we as a country have lost sight that to be free and a strong country we must educate our youth and public to the best of our ability. Go get some extra credit. life does not get easier but it can always get better.
