Steve - as a former co-worker and friend, I just want to say that you inspire me! Although I will never be an Iron Woman, I am focused on health and happiness. As to the song to add to your playlist, I would recommend "Move" by MercyMe. Keep the faith and believe! Proud of you, Knox! SW

I am so impressed! I don't think we appreciate the talent we have right here in our backyard! Way to go, Rock Aqua Jayers! Here's to wishing you a successful 4th of July weekend festival.

Nice organization, Joel!

One more comment:

Advice on Hedberg Public Library - I reserve on-line and pickup at check-out desk from reserved shelf. It's kind of like fast food book reading. Fits my lifestyle. I stop at Mocha Moments (my vote for best local business) for a latte and scone and enjoy some relaxing moments on their couch by the fireplace or on the deck listening to and watching the birds.

I strongly agree with you on your main point: I am proud to have been born in and raised in Janesville.

Steve:

I am surprised by you my friend and co-worker...you should know this:

addition: I never meant to make light of the loss of this young girl. She was a precious child of God. She should not have died as she did. I do also wonder how a mother and father could stand by and watch their child suffer to the extent it was reported. This whole story is sad.

I am a born again Christian and I am confused and saddened by this ruling. I understand his right to believe in healing and God's miraculous touch in our lives. I do believe. But I also know when I need medical attention, that I make an appointment and God gives my doctors and nurses divine wisdom for my care and well being. I am sure there is more to the story than what we have heard through the media. I pray the sentences for the mother and father are not long. I beleive they have another child to care for. I pray that the courts/judge will be merciful, as God is mercy. I'll continue to pray for this family.

John - thank you for sharing your story. We will pray for your healing. Also, that you make time to examine your relationship with God. There are so many wonderful pastors/churches in Janesville if you desire to talk to someone about spiritual matters. God bless you, my friend.

I go to church to 1) worship God and 2) share the talents God has given me with others. God commands us to gather together (Hebrews 10:25). I hope you all have a wonderful Lord's day - and even if you do not know Him as personal Lord and Saviour - you can still honor you and our family by declaring one day a week as a day of rest and of family time.
