The business owners didn't seem to care when we got hammered in 2002. I believe that with some of the big Janesville business help, they got our grevinces thrown out at the state level.

What a great front page article for Mothers Day. I guess you couldn't find a picture of anyone being run over by a train. I guess you could have saved it for Christmas.

Ted,on the Humphrey article. You didn't actually believe that he hadn't carried a gun before, did you? Don't you remember in court the the Asst. DA said he was caught with a handgun in the glove box of his vehicle years ago. It is also against the law to carry a loaded gun in any vehicle. His Harley is a vehicle.
He was waiting for the police to come and arrest him at work. REALLY. You don't have to carry a passport in the glove box of your vehicle to get into jail.
The gun was sticking out of the ground after being buried the night before and thats why he took it and threw it into the river. Cmon, lets be real.
He took you for a ride, Ted, and you bought it hook, line and sinker.

exFIB, have you ever thought about getting a different insurance company? I sounds like it might be a good idea. The health bill is here to stay. It can be modified, but it is not going away.

If they pass a referendum it won't be $10 or $15 dollars a month. It will be at least $50 or $60 dollars a month. I think Feldt and Henry just took themselves out of the election.

Beckord says that they are completely non-partisan. OK, I'm up off the floor now. I think I can see the brown stuff running out of his ears.

On Time magazine calls Paul Ryan a man to watch

I really had to laugh while reading this article.Frank Schultz really misses the whole point. Paul Ryan is the reason the congress is in gridlock. Paul Ryan is the reason we have the huge debt. He voted for everything Bush proposed. He helped deregulate the commodities, which pushed the price of gas above 4.00 a gallon and closed the GM plant in Janesville. Now he wants to eliminate Medicare. NOT reform it, he wants to eliminate it. The article was showing him as a joke, not as someone who anyone takes serious.
