noteaforme: Granted I didn't like Thompson as our governor but tax and spend Doyle was much worse.
On Simi Valley votes to hire Levitt as city manager

usaret: At least with a mayor the citizens can vote someone out of office when they are not doing what they should be doing, unlike with a city manager where the voters have no real say in the matter.

Now is the perfect time to eliminate the managers position and go to an elected mayoral system.

woody: If Doyle wouldn't have kept sticking his sticky hands into the transportation fund when he was in office maybe Walker wouldn't have to borrow the money now!
On NO ELECTION for Milton School Board next Tuesday!

If you're refusing to vote eyester then you still are part of the problem with who is on the school board. What's the matter are you too chicken to run yourself? If you think that you can do a better job then run for office and then do so. If you don't think that you can do a better job you can always make a write in vote. But failing to vote at all just shows how ignorant you are and you really don't care, and if that is the case then you have no reason to complain! So again it comes up to either "put up or shut up"!

nvgrf. Our nation is on a decline because of the far lefties and their soft stance on crime and feeling like they have to control every aspect of a law abiding citizen and then tax the hell out of them!

Rickraff: If I am only fractionally better than a slug, what does that make you then if you yourself have been reading and responding to his blogs for over 2 years?
I have only agreed on one thing with eyester and that is death with dignity, otherwise I have disagreed with everything else that this so-called educator spews. Calling him a professor is an insult to true Professors that actually teach students with an open mind. More than once eyester has proven that he does not have an open mind.

poohbah: No aura of entitlement at all. One should be willing to answer questions and back up their claims when they are making such claims in a public forum which this blog is, nothing more, nothing less!

On Foremost Farms to close dairy plants
Posted on April 30 at 9:12 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
This story is not a big surprise as Foremost Farms has been struggling to keep afloat and downsizing the amount of plants that they own for years. In the recent years they sold the juice plant in Madison and also the milk bottling plant in Waukesha which was bought by the parent company of TV Guide which just shut down and locked it's employees out last year. You Walker haters really need to open up your eyes and do some research of the real facts. I used to haul juice out of the plant in Madison and haul milk into the plant in Waukesha.
At the juice plant juice concentrate would be hauled into the plant in either tankers or 55 gallon drums, they would add filtered water to the concentrate and then bottle it. You people wonder why juice prices are so high? This is how it works. A tanker of orange juice concentrate would be brought in from Florida they would add the water back to it and bottle it and then it would be sipped back down to the Tropicana plant in Bradenton Florida. i have hauled several loads of juice back down there. I also hauled apple juice concentrate from NJ which was shipped in 55 gallon drums overseas from China and other countries to Madison so they could add water back to it and bottle it. Most of you don't really have any idea how your food and beverages get to the store shelves, if you did you would be shocked!
