I am NOT a mercy fan at all, but in their defense, I think people in general need to be educated on when it is appropriate to seek medical attention. Sore throat/ear aches, etc are not something that the ER should be used for. Generally I think the ER is over run with
many medical situations that could very easily
wait until a primary doctor is available !

With that being said, and having worked in the medical field, Mercy is the last place I would care to be treated. And I have used their services.

Maybe the care is subpar, because the employees are so over worked !!

To branch off of whybesad...I have no problem paying a small athletic fee. But I agree that once you do pay that athletic fee EQUAL (but won't happen) playing time for the athlete is the main priority. Now the family IS PAYING FOR INTRUCTION OF the sport along with useage of equipment. how are school athletics any different then YMCA,Youth football, baseball, etc?

In the youth programs throughout our community the coaches are NOT PAID, in the schools, the coaches receive a small stipend for their service.

As a parent of high school athletes I think were really already fund these athletes enough.

Try ALDI'S !!! They are much cheaper than Woodmans on bread and buns. Their fresh produce
is very nice and often times the seasonal fruits are far cheaper than Woodmans. All of their foods are pretty much no-name, but we always buy 1 of something and try it. If we like it, we buy again. The chips at ALDI's are
half the price of the name brand ones and my kids love them !!

I just can not believe the mind set of some people. WHO in their RIGH MIND wishes ill on people?? Most days I really do have faith in others, but in situations like this, it is very disheartening to hear others wishing ill will on people. Janesville is a wonderful city,
just read yesterday's paper and the article of some of our wonderful citizens who are receiving acknowledgement for their VOLUNTEER EFFORTS !! If we would only learn to be there for each other instead of ripping one another apart....
