On Evansville adds room tax

I was wrong. Of course, you will never hear a politician admit the same. *** Dan is not the mayor; but Sandy is. Yes, I was hasty in commenting.

But note the following:

The crushing plant is still a go, for now, but the Biodiesel Facility is not. Personally, I don't think crushing plant probably will be far behind. In my opinion, the entire process wasnt thought through.

"Gosh! Biodiesel. Everyone is running out to get some. Every diesel vehicle produced for consumer use can run on it right now! No conversion! Manufacturers are recommending it! Ford, Chrysler, GM... all of them? There's even a national standard for biodiesel!" And Evansville is poised to overtake Saudi Arabia, Texas, even Alaska!(Yeah, right!)

Let's also not forget our current civic improvements; rolling along at a staggering pace!*** The Lake! The Park! When will that be completed?!? Probably about the same time we get a HWY 14 Bypass.

Come-on! Nobody honestly saw this coming? We need to step back and think things through, and think small.

And as for a new Mayor and/or city council, last time I checked, my door bell still worked. You're welcome to swing by any time and discuss your vision for Evansville's future. I may even offer you dinner.

Oh and Dan; this will be your last term as Mayor! You'd better start looking for work elsewhere.

Now that the soybean crushing plant will not be a reality, Evansville's one and only hotel will be "belly-up" before it even opens!

Farmers should be allowed.

But, don't wolfs keep down the deer population? I believe they go after weak or sick animals mostly. And that's a good thing, right?

Why not?! Progress, jobs, positive benefits for the health of Janesville and environs. It also demonstrates that Janesville economically stable, still growing, and providing diverse new employment opportunities.
