the correct way to fix this situation is to eliminate the causes. which would mean move hwy 26 or county N.
so I suggest building an overpass on 26, that means that county N would run under 26. costly yes, but how do you put a cost on human life.
situation eliminated

Why should you vote?
You vote for change/not to change.
I have always said that if you are happy with the way things are going, vote to keep it that way. If you not happy, vote to change it. That way you can say you did your part and tried to make a difference.

the damage came from my Black Light/Posters, Satin Sheets, and Velvet wall coverings. I paid a lot of money for those things and the Ladies down at the Gin Mill really like them.
by the way she wasn't a maid...she was my lady

any one heard of Columbine? I think this should not be a new item. I think that it should have been the entire school systems responsibilty to control what the children say and do from day 1. take swearing and untolerable acts out of the school (kids and teachers alike) and the schools will be safer.

Yes, I agree, they did a nice job, but I still think that the purpose of all elected officials is to eliminate waste and tax increases. In say that, I agree they did a nice job, but they could have done better.

Not only is it time to move the Fair grounds, it's time to address the parking issues that come with this increase. Also we need to think about public safety around all of the traffic issues that the Fair brings.

Well, this is how I see it:
Brett retired; The Packers had to move on, and they did.
Now Brett wants to come back, that's fine, but he should have to fight for his job.
In business, you lose an employee to retirement, you find another to take his place. the Packers did that.
If Brett doesn't feel he should have to fight for his job, then stay retired, if he really wants to play then come in to training camp and fight for the job.
If not: then take your aligator tears and take them back to Mississippi, we are done with you.

my vote is for Mr. Lemmer. he may seem like a simple man, but I believe that he will have integrity in this position and a common mans view on issues, and that's what we need. a hard working man honest man in that position. Not a group of up class that think they know what the school district needs.

Not only should the council be frugal, but they should be looking at every position in the school district to make sure there is no redundancy in them. If positions that are doing the same job, they should look at combinding the positions to save money.
Paying of the bonds, I believe is a very good idea. Mr. Evert should be figuring out how much enrollment is going to be going down (Loss of Jobs in the area) and start trying to fix the budget right now for future years to come.

On Janesville school buses to get seat belts
Posted on November 26 at 7:52 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
Who's job is it to enforce the seat belt law? the school boards? Oh no, it will be the bus drivers responsibility. the person who make 12 bucks an hour, and puts up with loud kids. he gets into an acident and everyone will blame him for not having 40+ kids buckled in. sure he can check every childs seat belt, but once he gets behind the wheel, he can't control children unbuckling their belts.
