I find it extremely difficult to have pity on this man (David Opie) when I see his name listed in the arrests column in today's paper being charged with a felony.

How is it possible that this hunter knew for a fact this was not a rare albino deer? Was the eye color obviously visible at 150 yards away? It was almost dark (he had to wait until morning to track it) so, how did he know for sure?

And at what cost to the most needy people in the community? Maybe Mercy in Motion, inpatient hospice and Mercy Manor could have been kept a little longer if Mr. Bea wasn't so worried about the almighty dollar. To all those who are pro-Mercy: you must not have a loved one who is desperate need of those cut services. I hope you never do need them, but then again, maybe the "super robot" can give the elderly rides to appointments and provide end-of-life care.

Is this where the funds for Mercy's inpatient hospice care, Mercy In Motion transportation and Mercy Manor nursing home went? Mercy eliminated these 3 badly needed community services. And now they are promoting a multi-million dollar robotic surgery system. Mr. Bea, where are your priorities?

The victim was shot at 9:16am and the chase ended at 9:49am. That's 33 minutes. An out of control armed man could do a lot of damage in 33 minutes with a gun. That seems like plenty of time to decide if our children are in danger or not.

Why wasn't the entire Janesville School District placed on lock-down? There is a armed gun-man racing through the streets and our children are allowed to go outside for recess???

His record makes me question his motives to get more meds. Could he be selling his meds? It's a posibility, especially if he has a felony record.
