So is this article saying that we have 40 social workers in the school district? For what possible reason would we need more than one social worker per school? I doubt these people are hardly saddled with ooodles of work, with the exception of the high schools. My opinion, get rid of more and for that matter reduce the number of alternative schools in the district.

I think that this is a great idea. Not only does it give teachers more options on vacations but also families that do not want to pull their kids out of school early around the holidays.

I think the costs of running air conditioning or fans during the summer would be offset by not running the heat for weeks at a time during winter.

I know that this is an important service for many individuals but far too often you see these buses with less than a handful of people, including the driver. This buses are very expensive to maintain and how do you justify these costs during none peak hours of the day? I say cut all the routes around town in half during none peak times.

Besides, you need to realize that bicycle tourism brings in nearly $1 billion of tourist money into this state. Invest some get a whole lot back. Money well spent.

There is very minimal upkeep when it comes to bike trails if you have not paid any attention yet. The only real upkeep is mowing. How long has the trail been in Janesville and have you herd of any section of the trail needing to be resurfaced? When there is minimal weight there is minimal wear.This is a good thing to get all those overweight Wisconsinites off their couches and enjoy what this state has to offer and without looking at it from a car window.
