On Mercy leader learned ideals at a young age

Posted on January 20 at 12:53 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I don't hardly read the Gazette blogs and this is a great example of why- faceless negativity. I thought the article was nice and being a Mercy patient myself, I appreciate all that Javon Bea has done for our community. "the secret in life has always been to listen more than you talk, and always do the next right thing no matter how painful the consequences or resistance." I like this quote a lot and will think of this when I strive to be the best I can be. ********Thank you Mr. Bea, keep up the great work.**********

On This picture was taken in the early 60's at either Riverside or Palmer Park. Great memories! I do

The slide at Palmer Park was even taller than this one. I loved both pools as a kid! Janesville had and will always have great parks! A treasure years back and still a treasure today.

On Dean Clinic announces plans for new clinic at Edgerton Hospital

I've been happy with Mercy's services for many years now. They've been in Edgerton for years. If Dean wants to set up shop in Edgerton, maybe they can move that building that they abandoned in Milton?

Nurse4u - You are a wonderful person for heading to Haiti, I would be honored to donate money to your cause. I searched on line and found a few different nurse organizations, would you mind posting a link to the organization you are with. The Gazette should do a story about you and your experience, maybe they could somehow connect with you while you are there. People need to understand how horrifying this tragedy is.

As for the Trauma 2 article, wonderful news!!!!! My friend's son was in a motorcycle accident and it is due to the skills of Drs Sturm, Winney, nurses and techs that he is alive today to watch his children grow up. Four months later, he is strong, completely recovered without brian function loss...the time traveling to Madison or Rockford would have jeopardized that.

I am very relieved to see that Mercy is taking care of the trauma cases. Those people who shared their stories are real people, our neighbors! We should be thankful for what Mercy is doing to make Janesville a better place. I am glad these people shared their story, I'm glad they got care close by home, and I wish them all the best in their continued recover.
