On Milton teacher shared her passion for business with her students

Posted on September 25 at 5:56 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I have no respect for her if indeed she committed suicide. Anyone who does that has no passion for teaching or students. suicide is a Stupid, childish permanent solution to a temporary problem.
.
If it is found she did not committ suicide (which i hope is true) then i rescind my statements and apologize but i have no compassion for people who committ suicide and carelessly leave behind family and friends to grieve something that they could have avoided.

Quote - "Another human over-reaction in full swing! I can understand though. Look at all those deaths in the Country from H1N1." - Quote.
.
Ah yes, the classic ignorance "it wont happen to me" mentality. I suppose it would take a death to make it serious? or perhaps we become educated and prevent any deaths. Uneducated mentalitys like yours are what scare me more than H1N1

On Settlement reached in Janesville rape lawsuit

Posted on September 22 at 6:07 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

pat, that is about the dumbest thing ive heard in a long time, your analogies are junk. This woman was raped, she doesnt have a sprained ankle or a broken leg because someone forgot to chip the ice off the steps. In order to sue someone, on your house property or on the mall property you have to prove negligence. If someone is walking past my house and a drive by shooter kills them and they die on my property do i get sued for it? no. I wasnt negligent. By your logic i could twist my ankle on someones flower bed when they arent home and sue them, thats simply not how it works.

On City of Janesville, developer at odds

Codes are in place for a reason, is it going to take someone getting killed by a falling ceiling or a firefighter getting killed in a fire that could have been stopped by a sprinkler system that was up to date? If this guy would have simply brought the items up to code in the first place he wouldnt have spent "hundreds of thousands" fighting the city. Theres an old saying, "you cant fix stupid" that applies very well here.
