I feel everyone should be responsible for their own actions. However, I feel the banks do own some responsibility in this situation. When we applied for our mortage, the bank kept telling us we could afford way more. They couldn't believe we weren't going to spend what we were approved for. I can see how the average person could get caught up in the moment. It's a stressful time buying a house.

I admit I was happy to see Brett retire. I was ready to see the Pack move in a new direction. However, I am sad to see Brett leave Green Bay for another team (if the rumors are correct.) He played most of his career here, he should be able to retire from here. I am frustrated at how this all played out. I believe both sides are responsible. The Packer's management should have addressed the issues sooner. I think most people believe there is more to the story than either side is disclosing.

I don't think Gina read the article about Janesville being one of the areas hardest hit with unemployment. That article explains why people commute - there are no jobs in the area.

I make every effort to buy American products and do not shop at Walmart. However, for me it is an issue of quality. I have owed American cars in the past and they constantly were needing repairs. I now buy foreign. They are cheaper and more reliable. If American cars become more affortable and reliable, I will consider buying one.
