Well here we go again with the bash on Beloit comments. Yes we have issues but so does every other community in this country. Its interesting that when there is a problem that happens in Janesville I dont notice the comments coming from these same people. Ive also gotten involved in the community in trying to make changes instead of just sitting behind my computer making nasty comments....."Just Sayin!"

I am a proud ABC employee who got to share in this once in a lifetime event thanks to Diane Hendricks. Anyone who wants to be so critical about this should also do some research and look at what the Hendricks family and ABC has done for this community. How much worse do you think this area would be if they had not put the national headquarters here and provided thousands of jobs. I have been with this company for a lot of years and I know how much they love this community and always giving back to it. This event on Thurs was one that not only will I remember but so will my co workers.

I work for ABC and there is a reason it has received the Gallup Great workplace award for the last several yrs. Im proud to work for this company and the event today was one I will never forget. Regardless of how one feels about President Bushs politics to listen to him speak in person was an awesome experience. Apparently Sannio knows not a thing about this family or the company otherwise they would not have made such an ignorant comment

Well here we go....how many comments on Beloit do you think there will be?? Does anyone else get tired of this border rivalry between these two cities? Seems like anytime something happens that involves Beloit the nasty snide comments begin. Just wondering if these people read any of the articles about the issues that happen in Janesville by Janesville residents and then make similar statements????

Drove past what remains of the restaurant yesterday and felt so sad to see it in ruins. I grew up going there with my family and always loved when I got my "kiddie cocktail". Another landmark lost....

I find it amazing that this is a story on a jvl resident and the eastsider still finds it necessary to insult Beloit. Why do you need to make such nasty comments about an entire city when this story has nothing to do with it??? I happen to live in the southwest side of Beloit and have been for more than 30 yrs. I work hard pay my taxes and do not have a criminal record but yet you have included me in your "assumption" of my city. Why?
