I too saw signs posted road side around town and the Milton Courier had a great right up about it last week. And I'm pretty sure I saw something about in online in the Gazette, because I knew about it prior to the Courier article. Sorry to hear some won't get there chops this year.

kaeoh - students filled out the survey at school. At Northside it was during a lunch period. Parents are encouraged to fill out the survey online.

I'm not defending the kids' actions, but good grief, take your energy and get out there and help those that need it instead of pointing a finger.

To "pack" I agree, people should learn how to cross the street by themselves, that must mean you're one of those drivers that know's how to yield to a pedestrian/bike rider then when they are present. ??

Most likely they are from Milton due to how the robberies are happening. My friend lives in town, her daughter-in-law came over, sat in car for a second, went inside the house without locking the vehicle as she wasn't staying and within 5min a neighbor called to say someone was in the car. I would say the thieves are lurking in neighborhoods waiting for opportunities like this. Might even live near by. When police where called, they were there within minutes, with a dog even (from Janesville) to track them. They noted this has been happening alot so they are taking each call seriously.

I'm a parent of a student at MMS and I am also a Milton School District employee. Through a district employee email I became aware of something found on Oct. 3rd. This letter from the principal helped answer questions I've had about this situation. For that I'm glad it was sent. Also, as a district employee, there has been 'talk' and to know some facts versus 'hear say' is also good. I'm also still believing that anybody could have planted it in this location. I've worked in this building, it's not an impossible scenario.

Thanks for mentioning Asia Buffet, I've been waiting to see a story about it. Drove by the other night to see all the emergency vehicles but no story, but a fire in a town an hour away, yea that trumps the fires in this town!
