On McPoland loses his battle with cancer

Posted on October 4 at 10:58 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

My thoughts and prayers to the McPolands. Sam, JoAnne, Shelly, Bob, Mike and Jim. I am so sorry for your loss. I have sit quietly in the evening reading John's blog on occasion and reflecting on life through a man who knew how to live as he knew his days were going to be cut short here on earth. Praise God that he grew close to Jesus on his final walk. John's last blog stopped me in my tracks as I read it at work last week and wondered how one could ever be so brave as to face it all as he did. I am grateful he shared his journey with us all and I am sure he touched so many lives and helped others with his story. May he rest in peace.

Hi John, I hope you are doing well these days. I pray for you and your family often. I am Shellys friend you met at Jims' benefit. (The irish woman that would not give in until I claimed the jukebox.) I hope you find joy in everyday blessings that come your way. If you are anything like your sister giving up is not in the cards.
Keep the faith John............God Bless You
Sincerely, Deb Hocking
