On Republicans negotiate changes to Wisconsin budget

The republicans are at it again. Creating a shortfall of $500,000.00 at the end of 2017. This is the debt this administration will pass on to the future. The Tommy Thompson administration passed along the same debt and you see where it put Wisconsin, this administration is doing it again. They are creating a society that encourages the rich to become slum lords, puts violent criminals on the streets as the rich profit on the bonds (not to mention cutting public safety which puts us all in danger), takes DNA from innocent people and forces the DNR to restrict/ enforce no protesters at mine sites. This is a dispicible budget and sickens me. If your not sickened your not paying attention!

The republicans are up to it again. This budget passes along a $500,000.00 debt to the successor and the taxpayers of Wisconsin in 2017. The Tommy Thompson administration passed along the same debt to the future of Wisconsin and it grew to $4B. As this budget does not address roads and infrastructure it does address allowing big business to become slum lords without conditions, collect DNA from innocent people, allows the wealthy scum to profit on bonds that allow violent criminals to return to the streets (let's not mention the cuts to public safety which would be our only net to protect us from the released violent criminals). Robin Voss and the Republicans are "proud" of this budget. It's sickening!

On Milk money: Farm bill could hinge on dairy vote

More pork to the farmers at the consumer/ taxpayers expense. If a gallon of milk cost $7 to produce mark it up so you make a profit, don't make an insurance policy covered by the government/ taxpayers offset your expenses.

Check out Jamen Shively. From recent TV interviews he appears to be an expert on the marijuana legillazition trend and business. He recently said after 2015 elections twelve more states will have legilaized marijuana. Time to set up business.
On It’s time to end our failed war on marijuana

Very good article. The waste of money to fight the war on marijuana is a senseless waste of taxpayer money. Every drug czar the president has appointed states that marijuana is a war that cannot be won, yet we spend hundreds of millions fighting it. Embrace it, tax it, create an economy around it, save hundreds of millions to fight a bigger battle.

On Should we move to year-round k-12 education?
Posted on June 19 at 6:10 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
Yes. I've know several families from the United States and abroad who attend school year round and love it. While year round education has more days off per year the breaks are two to four weeks off rather than three months in a row. All parents report the kids return rejuvenated with no skills or knowledge lost. It makes sense but we are reluctant to change.
