On Campbell worked hard for Janesville

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Campbell family. Terry was a helper and contributor. His work at his church, businesses, and community serve as an example of giving. He loved his family and community. I had the pleasure of knowing Terry both personally and professionally, as well as his family through church. He will be missed, mostly by his wife and children. But he will be missed by all. I can't think of a better example of someone giving back and empowering those around him to do the same- the Haenel family.

On Blow up the Bucks

These days, I haven't watched many of the Bucks' telecasts. I'm a lifelong fan. I rarely miss a Brewers or Packers broadcast. I grew up cheering for the Bucks. If you're like me, it hasn't always been easy. Lately, the team shows up for games, at best. At least they get dressed.
Since I don't catch a lot of games, I trick myself into thinking that the next game I watch might be the big game they win-- like the one against New York the other night. I thought I'd be rewarded with a big victory. It started like a game I thought the Bucks wouldn't lose. Afterall, if a city can produce a Super Bowl champ, they might prove to be a just reward for a hard-fought game of hoops. As it turns out, the Bucks fared no better against the Knicks than the Patriots did against a team from the same city.
If you can't bring back Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson, then you just have to play your heart out. Every play, every quarter, every night. Some years you have talent, other years you just have to play like you're talented. Just go out and play! This means coaches and players. Just play like you did in grade school, high school, and college. And then see what happens. Maybe then, we'll be reminded of the Bucks we used to watch.
