Im pretty sure they are all free on the streets.....If not all the majority are. They are innocent until proven guilty after all and you cant get into see a judge that fast.

ACTUALLY YOU WERE NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THE ARTICLE YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT ME AND THAT IS NOT WHAT THE TOPIC OF CONVERSATION IS HERE. I DIDNT SUGGEST LETTING THEM GO WITH A SLAP ON THE WRIST I WAS SUGGESTING THAT TREATMENT ALSO BE PART OF THE PUNISHMENT.

ummmm...did I ever once say that it wasn't true??? I dont think I did. My point, which was clearly made, was that they need treatment as well as anything else they get. I dont think any of my comments said that I was surprised that this happened and this is a place to comment on the article not make attacks on people so I think that you are the one that needs to grow up and stick to the subject of this forum.

I agree with everyone who says the government should make weed legal. It would really help our economy right now. The tax money that would come from weeed would blow anyones mind. Other countries have done it and although I am not sure, I could bet that it help the growth of their economies.

acs....who did they hurt. They didnt get ina car and kill soemone. Stealing is not right and Im not saying it is but to compare it to hurting other physically is just way out there. They do need treatment IN ADDITION to paying for the crime. Im not syaing let them off, just get them help too.

acs.....i have never been in the jail...EVER and I know that their are drugs in there. It is actually easier to find drugs in jail then out. I dont know personaly but I do know some people who do know personally. What they need is treatment not jail time

If you dont really know what happened and dont know the people...and going to high school with them is not knowing them..then you need to stop talking...period!!!!! So the moral of the story is...mind your own!

im not sying they didnt know, I was saying that it wasnt like their goal to be an addict. And Im sure none of them could have guessed that it would be as bad as it was. They know its bad to do drugs but sometimes it takes more then that to prevent or stop someone from doing them.

I agree with serenity...the made a bad choice!! If someone had sat there and said to then "In two years you will be in the middle of a serious addiction" do you honestly think they would have still done it?? If you do then you have another thing to learn. None of us are perfect and therefor have no right to judge others. Even if your mistakes arnt this serious you still made them and have no right to judge other people fot theirs!!!

What does you being American have to do with this??? Im just wondering. And again lets all remember that people,anyone, is innocent untile proven guilty!!! If anyone happens to know the outcome of the court date or if there even had been one yet, please enlighted the rest of us!
