On Union supporters hold rally at Rock County Courthouse

People chanted, "This is what democracy looks like." That's interesting... Because as I recall, 14 state senators fled the state to prevent democracy. Do union people even know what the definition of democracy is? That's pretty scary, seeming as how a lot of the protesters are teachers. This ignorance is being passed on to our children.

Walker is doing exactly what he ran on. He is dealing with the runaway budget. He's dealing with overburdened taxpayers and overcompensated public employees. Name one thing he lied about.

That doesn't even make any sense. The job of governor is to balance the budget while getting the most out of the taxpayers' money as possible. I think many people fail to understand that.

KingRizzo: I never said I hated unions. Why do you hate balanced budgets, fiscal responsibility and taxpayers?

DTB: Are you joking? You think Walker is doing this to advance his career? Taking on unions is political suicide. He is doing what needs to be done to balance the budget and keep the state solvent for future generations. The taxpayer is the little guy. We are the ones who pay for the budget. And we should have a say in all of this, since all of this is coming out of our hard-earned paychecks.

So a guy from New York calls Walker and poses as a Walker supporter to try and get him to say something that can be used against him? How desperate are these people? Did the unions pay this guy to do that?

America is sick of union greed and all their dirty tactics. It's about time someone took them on. Scott Walker is a hero. We finally have someone in office who cares about the little guy, the taxpayer.

It's disgusting that lawmakers would flee to avoid making a vote. Remember that in the next election. These clowns have no business in government.

Look, if the teachers were doing a good job, that would be one thing. But the public school system is failing us. Our country is lagging behind many other countries when it comes to education. Everyone knows that if they want their child to get a high quality education, they need to send their child to a private school.
Also, the cost per student for a private school is less than the cost per student in the public school system.
So excuse me for not being very enthusiastic about the teachers who are protesting.

Thanks Governor Walker for sticking up for the little guy, the taxpayer. We are a silent majority. We work hard and expect to get the most out of the taxes we pay. We are tired of being bullied by unions. We are tired of union greed. Thank you for sticking up for us and giving us a voice in all this. It's about time we were heard.
