Cutting athletics is not the solution. You think you have a deficit now, wait until open enrollment hits and all the athletes go to other districts.

No. They may not reallocate funds out of the special education fund now that they are getting this extra money. If they do they will have to pay it back with interest, not something any school in wisconsin can afford. I am sure there will be a school somewhere that is going to try it but they will get caught, just you watch.

You all have great points and I understand what all of you are saying. I will say what no one is actually coming out and saying, I want the schools to do more for my child, but I am not willing to pay more for it. Think about it, you want more supervision, but don't want to pay more in taxes to help fund the supervisers needed.
