Maybe if the city council checked into some of the inane spending of the city manager and his co-horts they would not need to freeze employees wages. I wonder if they will do the same with salaried employees including themselves. If they really want to save money then they should freeze their own as well, not likely but what is good for one should be good for everyone.

Our laws must change or all the police in the country won't help. They put them behind bars and our courts let them out. You get more jail time by not paying your child support! If we as citizens want it to change so the drug dealers are stopped and put away for good we have to take steps to change the laws in this state and most of the country. These people are killing our children, husbands, mothers, sons, daughters, wives, fathers, get the picture! We need to stop it ASAP! NO MERCY! NO EXCUSES!! We need to get rid of them!

It drives me crazy that you can drink alcohol just about anywhere, but good lord don't smoke! I don't smoke and still feel alcohol is the worse of the two. At least smoking doesn't change you and you can still drive, go to work and just about anything else. It wrecks lives as well. Most people have done things when drinking that they would not ordinarilly do. They say your children should not see you smoke that it is a bad example, watching you drink must be a good example? Makes no sense to me. Drinking at a child's game or party should not be allowed. BAD EXAMLPLE!

The damage to these children is going to be with them for a long time to come. It will affect them their whole life. Some will be ok but not all of them.

Some of the case workers at CPS don't agree with the laws but have to follow them. Some children are in foster care for a long time and the Moms are not terminated and should be, if they can't get their stuff done and together after months and sometimes years they should have their parental rights terminated. It is totally rediculous! They worry about the Mom's way too much and should be thinking of the children instead.

Beating them would not help, maybe they were beaten as children so feel this is the right way to do things. They will probably get another chance as most of them do. Maybe the state should step in and check out Rock County CPS. Something needs to be done to help our children in this county

CPS stands for Child Protective Services so lets protect our children! They are our future! Give them to someone that wants them and will love and nurture them not torture them. Attempted Homicide would be a place to start with the charges against them. Don't abuse your pets or leagally you can't have any more, why are they more protected than our chlldren who are blessings from God. I am not a religious person but I do feel that is what they are. STOP MOLLYCODDLING THE PARENTS! I realize CPS has laws they have to follow so lets band together to get them changed.

The people in care of him were responsible but CPS is in control of visits and should never allowed unsupervised or overnight visits. Reunification is a wonderful goal, but how much are the children to suffer with addicted parents whether it be alcohol or drugs. Biological parents aren't always the best to raise their own children. We all make mistakes but when we keep repeating them and never learn from them there is definitely a problem.

There is no reason they can't use the one they have, if it needs some repairs fix it. There are too many vacant buildings in Janesville now and they need to start utilizing what they already have.
