Well by looking at the unemployment level in Rock County, there would be thousands to pick from if they ever did re open the plant.

A sure way to do the right thing for the holidays, think back when you were young, what do you remember about the hoidays that was fun? I myself do not remember a specific gift I received, but I do remember spending a fun time with grandparents and parents and other relatives, having a large dinner and singing songs, now that is how we should spend our holidays, not all commercial like and charging too much on our charge cards. Memories are the best and a whole lot cheaper too!

I think the subject at hand was the home building in the Janesville area. I have seen many homes up for auction and yes I would look into one of those before building. As for Unions having any thing to do with the bad economy, I don't agree with that. The greedy CEO's are the downfall of major corporations and have always been. As for building new homes, of course we can hope for a turn around in the economy but I would not go to college to become a builder right now if you really want a job.

I would have to agree and say yes on this. My cell is off when I drive. I figure if it is a dire emergency, you can track me down with the police. Usually it is never an emergency. One less distraction in the car is a smart move I think.

First name usually was used. I shocked a abut 8 year old boy one day when he held the door for me as I went into a store, I said "Thank you Sir!" He quickly said to his mom, "hey, mom that lady called me sir!" And he had a huge smile. Sometimes it is nice to acknowledge the small helpful things kids do too. I told his mom he had a very find gentleman for a son!

It was an interesting show with Dan. Of course I did not agree with many of his ideas and thoughts but isn't that what the country we live in is all about. Freedom to voice our opinions even if it is liked by the next person or not. I think Dan and Rose did a very fine job and hope WCLO will find another show host that draws interest like they did.

Snow plows tear those up so they are more costly to care for. As for making the traffic keep a steady pace, they seem to work that way. Drivers have to just stay alert using them.

In this, she challenges the call, and it's the taxpayers who lose because of all the wasted tax dollars. All she loses is the election she already lost (i.e. the call stands). This SO does not seem right.
...I add, the one who wants the re-count and it does not change the outcome, should have to pay for the work done. Why to taxpayers pay for even more wasted time?...
I also think the one who blew it in Waukesha Cty. should be canned!

My dad passed away on Veterans day last year and he was a WWII AF Lt Col. Great guy who did a great service. Glad you got that medal!
