Thanks again, vnvet7071, for making me laugh. And good question, Frank. According to Astrology.com: "Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 9:45 PM EDT marks the Full Moon, what is called the “Frog Moon” indicating that the frogs have returned to the spring ponds, at least in temperate climates."

Thanks for the information on the House Finch. I think I have misidentified some Houses Finches for Redpolls in my video.

Here is what the Cornell Lab of Ornithology says about the the two: "House Finches, Purple Finches, and Cassin’s Finches are all larger than Common Redpolls, have much heavier bills, and lack bold wingbars; unlike the redpolls’ small patches of red, the males of these finches have red covering the whole crown and chest.

Thanks, f.schultz, vnvet7071 and booch11. The Red-tailed Hawk hasn't gone after the little ones yet. We were boating on the Rock River a few days ago when we saw the flies. Shot the backyard birds with two Canon cameras: HV20 and SX50HS. As you know, booch11,the SX50 is great for getting far away shots and slow motion.

Not a custom mixture. Haven't seen the birds mentioned, but today I filmed a Rock River eagle close up. It will star in my next video. Thanks for your comments. Glen
