On UPDATE: Woman hit by lightning in Bradford Township
Posted on July 23 at 9:15 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
I would like to clear the record that she was not riding a horse and there were no reins involved. My wife was bringing up livestock from the field when the storm struck. She ducked inside the barn, followed by the horses and sheep. Next thing you know she and the horse were knocked down by a lightning bolt. She has 2nd degree burns where her underwire bra was and minor burns on her thighs and ankles, the horse is A OK. The doctors say she is lucky to be alive.
