You do have a choice, the head lines are completely wrong and misleading. Sounds like some people still want the money and sit on their duff and do nothing. I worked at GM for years, when the plant shut down, my wife and I decided we were going to stay here. Yes I used money from the dislocated workers program and retrained and got another job making almost as much money as I did working for GM. I want to thank the people of Wisconsin for that also. I would have gone to school whether it was there or not, but I still thank the people of Wisconsin for the money for retraining. I work more than 40 hrs. per week, but the pay check is about the same. I had to go look for it and not sit on my duff doing nothing like I know some people did and are still doing. I know a lot of people who took transfers when they had choices to where they wanted to go. For the people who are going to cry about not have a choice, you had choices before and you still have choices now. I choose to stay here and believe me there is life after GM. BR549 I"ve known John Dohner Sr. when you were still in diapers and he does care more than any one can ever realize.

I read the article in Gazette today and it sounds like some people want something for nothing yet. Sounds like some people still want the money and sit on their duff and do nothing. This is for you winterstinks. How many people that don't drive trucks run stop signs and stop lights. Go to hwy 14 & 26 and you will see it every time the light turns red people run the red light. So don't come down on us truck drivers because that driver ran a stop sign. I know the person who was killed and my prayers go out to his family. Don't come down on us truck drivers because one of us made a terrible mistake and took a persons life, but there are a lot of people that drive4 wheelers that run stop signs and red lights.

I drove over the rumble strips today (3 of them) and they are shot. I went over them in a pick up and you would hardly know they were there. The county needs to repair them. Don't get me wrong folks, the red flashing light is still there and there is no excuse for the driver to run the stop sign. I know the deceased and my prayers go out to his family.
Just a thought, when you come up to a stop sign or a red light, PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THE VEHICLE WILL STOP. ALWAYS ASSUME THE VEHICLE WILL NOT STOP, THIS IS CALLED DEFENSIVE DRIVING.

It seems like the news media is making a big deal on how much the teachers make. Now that GM is gone now they are picking on the teachers. All the teachers deserve all the money they get. Now on the other hand lets find out how much the administrative staff get paid. I will bet it is over $100,000 a year. All the time you here about t he teachers and there contract with school districts on how much it will cost to give them a raise. I doesn't mention the administrative staff on how much the school board gave them a raise. Lets give the teachers a raise and take some money away from the administrative staff.

God help us if Mike Sheridan runs. I hope he doesn't, if he does I will vote Republican even though I have voted Democratic for years. I predict there will be a Republican Governor next election.

I would support the referendum for the classrooms but since they added the gym out of nowhere, I will not support it at all. Take out the gym and it has a good chance on passing. With the gym in there I doubt it will pass. No one even said how much the gym cost and how much the classrooms and cafeteria cost. Break it down so the people know what they are voting for instead of a lump sum.
