cool- I love old homes. I know how hard it is to do all of this work. We all appreciate your efforts to restore old homes.
Interesting story of "chopped up houses"
There is one in Courthouse hill. It was "chopped up" VERY very long ago. When a owner bought it long ago, early 1900's ish her husband died. She wanted to keep the house so she "chopped it up". She made an apartment on the second floor so she could keep the house.
All this "chopping" didn't always occur because of "slum lords". Owners just wanted ot make ends meet and keep those big homes in the family.

95 gallons is huge.
Just bought a 87 gallon rain barrel. Had to crawl in it to put on the spigit. It was HUGE and these are bigger than that.

kidfirst- use them for other stuff. Storage, yard waste,wood storage. This is what I will do with them.
You wont get into trouble if you take you own garbage away still. Not sure WHY you would do this.

Joe- don't put it out if it isn't full enough to keep it from blowing over.
I got up about 10:30 ish to close a couple windows because it was raining in. I would say within 10 minutes of doing this it was OVER!
Somebody tell who ever is in charge - we need rain :)

I don't see mention of, when they break, crack, or wheels fall off, they will replace them. I guess if it happens they will be "stolen".

The Historic Home tour will be in Prospect Hill district this year for those who like old homes. Sunday Aug 26th.
