it so so heartbreaking to see such negative comments by adult postings!!! this is a huge accomplishment for Ross and the other players can you just be happy for these kids that are working do hard to fulfill their dreams. CONGRATS ROSS!!!!!!!!!!!

I would just like to say to everyone until you have experienced being a parent of a drug addict first hand none of you know what it is like to deal with this. you can be the best or worst parent in the world and you have no control over what your child chooses to do when you are not around them.
Everyone please stop acting like they have all the answers because you don't no one does.
If anyone had the right answer we would have this under control.
All you can do if hope and pray your child makes the right choices in life and if they do not you need to be there day after day to help them through it.

a hockey game is about 2 1/2 - 3 hours long at most they are only serving beer the first 2 periods of the game. There will also be a certain area where the beer is sold unlike other sporting events where they sell it all over and are free to roam around with it.

For those of you that do not visit ice arena's there are several that sell beer during games.
Stoughton, Nagawaukee,& Eble Park just to mention a few that sell during games. Oh and not to mention our very own rink during a Junior hockey game last season we sold beer in a designated area as well. This is not such a unknown thing to do. Also would everyone stop calling this YOUTH hockey!!!! As to selling beer around children I go into bars and see kids, I go to brewer games and see kids, I go to snapper games and see kids, I go to bowling alley's and see kids I go to Chuckie Cheese and they serve beer where kids are everywhere. There will be a place that the beer will be sold and the kids will not be allowed.

I still am not believing what I am reading. Drug use is the same as someone addicted to smoking,gambling,drinking...there are many types of addictions some are legal some are not but just because they are legal does it make the alchoholic not a stupid person or the person who gambles all their money away. Come on lets use our brains to help these people not make it easier for them to get more drugs.
Also talking about Rehab it would be nice if Janesville had someplace these kids/adults could go but their is no place here.
Stop acting as though you are above everyone people make wrong choices and that is what happens in life.

you all are just terrible.... be happy for all these kids doing something they are good at and enjoy. Not to mention 2 very talented kids of which most of the janesville community knows from the following of the Bluebirds.
The Jets are here the rink is full let the kids play and everyone else stop complaining!!!
